Front-Page Physics

Here’s what “Front-Page Physics” looks like!

Starting in 1919, Einstein was a famous, a celebrity, and an international phenomenon. A heavenly star had made him into a rock star!

Fate had played an unexpected trick: the faintly deflected starlight had dazzled the public, and suddenly Einstein was famous. This essentially simple man, a cloistered seeker after cosmic beauty, was now a world symbol, a focus of widespread adoration – and of deep-rooted hatreds.
